Bless. I was wondering if anybody knows of artists with similar sounds or vibes to Midnite: I know this is a tough question because Midnite is very unique. I recently started listening to Don Carlos and I think he is somewhat similar because of the content and humility. His voice is also similar at times. What do you think ?

Bambu Station, Ras Batch, Army, Lutan Fyah & Danny I. All of them have a deep rasta vibe & most are lyrical geniuses. Lutan Fyah is the only one from Jamaica, yet he has many combinations with Vaughn & other VI artists.

I agree with Bambu Station. I need to check out the other artists.

Blessed. Dezarie is amazing. I play the live version of "Give Thanks For Life" very often. One thing that disappoints me is that I am unable to find one of her songs that I first heard at the Midnite show in New Orleans. The lyrics to the song are something to the effect of "love yourself don't sell yourself short." It's not the song from the Fya album. But yes, I certainly agree that Dezarie has similar vibes and sound. You mentioned some others that I will need to look into. Give thanks.

You should check new album from German band Sattatree, from Berlin... They thank Midnite in the notes as one of the source of their inspiration, and i must say there's influences but not too much at all to say they copy carbon... album name is Human Legalization... WICKED
